Elendir is shockingly beautiful. With her dark hair and eyes and her pale, pale skin with red lips that would put the reddest rose to shame, she looks like a modern-day Snow White.Of course she was around before Snow White, but who's counting? Standing only at five foot one, she's tiny and perfect. Not that she sees it that way, Lendie wishes that she could be tall and stately, not short and petite but she deals with it the best she can. When it comes to clothes, Elendir only wears they best, most of it made just for her. She wouldn't ever be caught in sweat pants and a tee-shirt. She hardly ever isn't wearing heels, after all a girl has to do whatever she can to overcome her height impairments.

Strengths: Standing up for what she believes in, stopping fights before they start, knowing the right thing to say, loyalty, anything to do with school work. Because her brother is so blunt, Elendir has learned to be very tactful to help ease any ruffled feathers Alec might have caused. She doesn't like to lie, exactly... But if made to chose between saying the truth and causing pain or telling a white lie to make someone feel better, she'll go with the lie. Always. Once she's made up her mind she gets right to whatever she'd decided to do. She's never turned in anything late in her classes. She's always thinking of others.
Weaknesses: Her good natured lies tend to come back and bite her in the ass. Elendir can get bent out of shape over the littlest thing, then overreact only to feel horrible about it as soon as she has calmed down. She has been know to put people before herself to the point that she's left no time let for herself. Lendie is rather shy, but most people tend to mistake her shyness with snobbishness. She trusts others more than she should. She tends to over think things.
Weird Quirks: ~Elendir walks on her tip-toes, a habit left over years and years of ballet classes.
~Lendie refuses to take part in the feud between the Faies and the Therians. She is even the founder and sole member of a anti-feud club in Idris. Her behavior in this matter has made most Faies to look down on her, while most Therians still don't trust her and are sure it must be a trick. Her Father doesn't know about any of this and if he did... things would not go well...
~She can only do her homework while sitting in her dorm room listening to music. She also has to do the subjects in alphabetical order.
Secrets: ~Elendir is not a virgin, after her Father kicked Alec out of the house she went out and got mind numbingly drunk and vaguely remembers having sex in the bathroom of the club she went into. It was awful and she never told anyone.
~She's jealous of the witches and mages. She knows it's silly but she wishes she had powers to do things. She feels that being a Faie can be more of a curse than a gift. She wishes she had a more active ability rather than the passive ones that come from being Faie.
~It's Elendir's fault that Alec was caught with Domimic. Alec had told Elendir about him in one of his many letters back home to her and she left it out where her father found it. She's never told Alec the truth because she's afraid that he'd never be able to forgive her the loss of Dominic.

Lendie is the type of person that would give you the shirt off her back. She's a giver, plan and simple. The thought of people hurting is almost more than she can take and she's prone to sticking her nose where is isn't needed or wanted if she thinks that a person needs help. She doesn't mean to be nosy and meddling, she just is. She just wants to make the world a better place, person by person, and she believes that most people are good at heart.
It doesn't help that she views the world through rose-colored glasses and believes that good will always overcome evil. Not that she's hopelessly naive, she knows that there are bad people out there that only want to hurt others, she just believes that the good people far outweigh the bad.
She studies as hard as she does and brings home the top grades not because she likes it exactly, but because she wants her family to be proud of her. (Okay, maybe she does like school a little too.) But really, her father's approval is the most important thing to her. Because of what happened with Alec, Elendir goes out of her way to be as close to perfect as she can. Elendir was born on an oddly bright and warm day in March in the Montague Manor in Kightsbridge, England. Her father could be heard to say that even the sun had wanted to meet the beautiful dark haired little girl with the large eyes that seemed to see through you and a smile on her face. The first ten years of Lendie's life were everything a little girl's life should be. She had everything she could possibly want and more.
And she had a champion of a big brother.
Alec Montague was everything a big brother should be. He was always willing to play with his baby sister and was always there to protect her from the monsters under her bed. She worshiped her golden-haired hero and he adored his little Lendie.
When Elendir was almost thirteen her mother had the twins, Edward and Janisse. Now Elendir got to be the older sister and she loved every minute. It seemed like everything was perfect. She was her father's shining glory and he spared no expense in seeing that she was the best at all she wanted to do. She toured with the English Royal Ballet troupe and rode the fastest horses bare back. Every day was a joy.
Then when she was thirteen Alec left to go see the world, she missed her brother but they wrote each other as often as they could. It was in one of these letter's that Alec told her about Dom. Elendir was more than a little shocked to find out that Alec was in love with another man but she was just happy that her brother was happy. She kept his secret from the rest of her family because she knew that they wouldn't see it the way she did.
Then one day she got careless.
Alec had just sent her a new letter telling her all about something that he and Dom had done when Lendie got called away by her mother to go do something. Not thinking anything of it, she left the opened letter on the side table where she had opened it. When she came back for it later the letter was gone. She was a little worried but assumed that someone had just moved it. She looked but couldn't find it. Until she saw her father sitting in his armchair reading her letter with a murderous look on his face.
Elendir tried to explain but he wouldn't listen. The next thing Lendie knew Alec was locked up in his room, only to excape then to be brought back a shadow of the person he had been. For years Lendie watched her hero wander around their home, having to see what she had done to him everyday.
It almost seemed as if it would've been better for Elendir to just have killed him.
She begged her mother to do something and finally she did. Elendir walked into Alec's room and gave him all that she could before telling him to leave and never come back. Alec looked at her one last time before kissing Elendir on the forehead and leaving. For good.
Lendie went through the motions of living for years after her brother left. Her fifteenth birthday came and went without the letter from Idris, just when she was worried she wasn't going to get one at all it came a few years after she was sixteen. Lendie accepted imediatly.
It was only when she got there that she saw Alec, who was in her year because he had waited so long to go to Idris. Lendie was overjoyed to see Alec but now she has to face the guilt of ruining his life everyday.
She's not sure how much more she can take...

Am I the only person here who is happy school's starting back up. I mean, don't get me wrong, I love being at home and just relaxing but now I get to see all of my friends. And just think of all the new things that we'll get to learn this year.
It's more than a little exciting, right?
For break this year we went to our house in the south of France. It was beautiful and very relaxing. I think I must've read half of the library in the house. It was a good vacation.

Elendir looked at herself in the mirror as she brushed her long dark hair. Was it bad that she wasn't sure if she knew the person staring back at her? Shaking her head, she turned to leave the bathroom and flung herself on her bed. Sometimes she could almost forget that she had single-handedly ruined her brother's life. But then it was back and all she could think about.
Well, sitting and moping wasn't going to do anything but make her feel worse so Lendie pushed herself off of her bed and walked out the door, taking one last glance at herself before she left. It was time to get to know herself again.
And what better way to do that then to find someone who needed help?
